The LG KF757 Secret is an updated version of the original KF700 Secret mobile phone, this latest model has additional features, namely Wi-fi and UMA. UMA is an open set of specifications designed to enable the delivery of data services over any IP-based access network including the internet. Nowadays more correctly referred to as GAN (Generic Access Network). The LG KF757 Secret is a slim slider phone with touchpad navigation and haptic feedback (haptic feedback involves applying forces, vibrations, and/or motions to the user). The first thing anyone would notice when doing an LG Arena review (or LG KM900 Arena to give this mobile it’s full name), is that this is a smart looking touch screen phone with a range of multimedia features all accessed through the stunning visual 3D interface displayed on the 3 inch colour screen with 480 x 800 pixel resolution. Part of the LG Touch family which includes other notable handsets like the LG KC910 Renoir and KF900 Prada, the LG Arena is a slim phone, measuring just 12mm in depth so fits in any pocket easily. The rechargeable battery provides up to 4 hours talk time and 300 hours on standby.

Inevitably, any LG Arena review will at some point compare this handset to the Apple iPhone, after all they are both touchscreen multimedia smartphones. The LG KC780 is a slide opening handset with high quality imaging features courtesy of the 8 megapixel camera unit. This stylish grey mobile is on the heavy side weighing 119 grams but this gives the LG KC780 a solid and high build quality feel. Measuring 14mm x 107mm x 52mm the KC870 will fit easily into any pocket. Up to six hours of talktime or up to 450 hours on standby means battery charges should be few and far between.
The LG KC780 has a 2.4 Inch screen which can display 262,000 colours with a resolution of 240 by 320 pixels. The screen can be viewed in vertical or horizontal mode using built-in accelerometer and auto rotate feature. Featuring 140Mb of internal memory, the LG KC780 can store many photos, videos and texts, however if you store a lot of data, you can expand the storage capacity using an 8Gb memory card.
The main attraction of the LG KC780 slider phone has got to be the built in 8 megapixel camera supporting both still picture and video recording. With Schneider Kreuznach optics, face detection feature, image stabiliser and light sensitive capture, this is a superb camera phone. Video is also
well catered for, with high quality thirty frames per second recording and playback in MPEG4 and DivX video format.
The integrated music player on the LG KC780 supports MP3 and AAC music formats with high quality sound reproduction and features an FM radio with RDS facility. The LG KC780 has many messaging formats allowing users to stay in contact using text, sound, pictures or video messaging. Email messaging is also supported with other email account contacts.
The LG KC780 is a tri-band network phone which communicates over the three main GSM network bands with automatic roaming. The handset supports Bluetooth wireless technology which connects to other compatible devices up to 10m apart. The integrated EDGE (Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution) technology provides high speed data transfer between the handset and other devices. There is also a USB connection port for connection to other devices which are not EDGE or Bluetooth compatible. The user can access the web from the LG KC780 using the built in WAP 2.0 web browser.

The LG KC780 is a compact slide opening phone featuring a fantastic 8 megapixel camera with Schneider Kreuznach optics, large colour screen, built in music player, FM radio with RDS and full video recording and playback features. Only lack of Wi-Fi lets it down - a great all rounder.
The LG Cookie (aka the LG KP500) is a well presented medium price range touch screen phone. A light weight and slim handset measuring 11.9mm in x 55.4mm x 106.5mm, this phone is available in four colours, sleek black, elegant gold, silver and brown coloured casings. The LG KP500 looks similar to the LG KC910 in design, but the features and technologies of these phones are different. The LG Cookie looks incredibly stylish with it’s large, 3 inch (measured diagonally) colour touch screen dominating the front view. With a built-in accelerometer, the screen has an auto rotate function which allows the user to view the screen in landscape or portrait mode. The LG Cookie comes with a stylus for making on screen selections and using the handwriting recognition feature the stylus and touch screen can be used like a notepad. The battery will give up to 3.3 hours of talk time or up to 350 hours of standby from one full charge.

Music entertainment is provided with a built-in music player which turns the LG Cookie into an entertainment device supporting WMA format, MP3 music and AAC music format. Managing and storing music files is easy and music files can be transferred to other devices like PC’s, laptops or mp3 players using Bluetooth or USB connectivity. The built in radio allows listening to your favourite radio station.
The LG Cookie has a useful camera function which for snapping those “kodak” moments along with a video recording facility. The video player supports playback in 3GP format and MPEG4 video format at 24 frames per second.
The LG Cookie has a host of useful calling features for contact management including phone book, logs for missed calls, calls made and calls received and hands free calling. The LG Cookie comes with a MicroSD memory card slot which can give an additional 8Gb of memory in addition to the already generous internal memory of 48Mb. The LG Cookie features Bluetooth with A2DP technology which allows the use of a wireless Bluetooth headset. A USB port is available allowing the connection of other compatible devices. An integrated document viewer allows easy viewing of documents in the following popular formats - .PDF , .xls and .doc.
The LG Cookie is a quad band phone which on most cases will provide worldwide roaming service, however this depends on the network service provider so always confirm prior to travelling.
The LG Cookie has good web and access features such as WAP 2.0 browser, email service, SMS text messaging and MMS multimedia messaging service.

For a mid range model, the LG Cookie is a good performer, excellent music player, reasonable camera and good range of features all wrapped up in a great looking handset.
The new LG Renoir (aka LG KC910) is a touch screen 3G phone which looks very similar to the LG Renoir Viewty (another touch screen phone from LG). The LG Renoir has a large 3 inch, colour touch screen, giving easy access to menu functions and features. Weighing in at approximately 114 grams the LG Renoir is fairly chunky and solid, measuring 14mm x 107.8mm x 55.9mm, but still easy to operate in one hand. This handset, though solid and substantial, is actually slimmer than most competitors such as Samsung’s i8510. The LG Renoir is a true contender for the iPhone crown with it’s range of entertainment and connectivity features.

It comes with an outstanding 8 megapixel digital camera which features Schneider Kreuznach optics, auto and manual focus and a xenon flash lens which allow the user to capture top quality still pictures as well as crystal clear video with DivX and Xvid support and up to 120 frames per second quality (QVGA). With face detection and image stabiliser features, taking high quality still photos or video is easy, A particularly useful camera function allows you to touch the screen to nominate the point of focus and when you remove your finger, the picture is taken - brilliant! Built in GPS also allows geo tagging for photographs and supports AGPS navigation.
The LG Renoir is a quad band phone covering all four GSM networks giving worldwide roaming network coverage. The inclusion of 3G HSDPA technology allows 3G video calls with other 3g compatible phones. In addition to Bluetooth and USB connectivity, the LG Renoir uses Wi-Fi technology which provides a wireless connectivity to the internet via local WLAN or hotspot connection zones.
The 3 inch touch screen is ideal for playing games with a clear and distinct graphic display and the built in music player with radio feature provides high quality entertainment on the LG Renoir. The sound reproduction on the handset is excellent with the Dolby sound feature.

The LG KS360 Black features touch screen dialling and a host of other features in a compact (16.8mm x 101.5mm x 51mm) handset weighing just 108 grams. The 2.4 inch, TFT screen displays up to 262,000 colours with 240 x 320 Pixel resolution and doubles as the camera viewfinder. The LG KS360 Black feels well made and built to last with a smooth over engineered feel to the slide mechanism.
Communicating with the office, friends or family is easy using the built-in email services including an email wizard which makes creating an email on this mobile a simple affair. Built in instant messaging service with emoticon support also provide online chat to others that are online at the same time as the user. The LG KS360 Black is a stylish slide opening mobile with a slide out full QWERTY keyboard. This is a mobile phone which will appeal to users who do a lot of emailing and/or texting. The KF900 Prada comes from the same family as the LG KE850 Prada handset. The most striking feature of this handset is the smooth slide out full QWERTY keyboard, this allows the user to input text or email messages at PC like speeds. The LG KF900 Prada comes in a sleek black casing (16.8mm x 54mm x 105mm) with a large 3 inch (measured diagonally) touch sensitive screen, with 240 pixels by 400 pixels resolution giving a high quality display. Competitors from other brands with similar functionality include the iPhone and Blackberry Storm. The battery gives 3 hours talk time and up to 400 hours on standby from a single charge.

The camera feature on the LG KF900 Prada supports still image and moving video capture. The 3 inch TFT screen is used as the viewfinder and for video playback. With five megapixels and a Schneider Kreuznach lens with auto focus, zoom and flash, the camera is an above average performer.
The LG KF900 Prada phone supports quad band network technology with HSDPA 2100 (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access in the 2100 MHz frequency band) which allows worldwide handset roaming.
